Renewing a Liquor License in Houston, TX

If you hold a liquor license in Houston, TX, you must renew it every two years. The Texas Alcoholic and Beverage Commission (TABC) will send you a postcard to your on-file address to remind you when your renewal date approaches. However, it is otherwise your responsibility to remember to submit your information on time to avoid a late fee. 

Multiple Renewal Methods Available

You may renew your liquor license online, by mail, or in person at your local TABC office. Online renewal is the preferred method by most permit holders (and TABC). However, note that you may only utilize this method if all the information and ownership for the permit have remained the same. If any changes have occurred, you must submit the appropriate TABC form. (Mailing address and phone number changes can be handled online.)
